We are a team made up of girls who love robotics. This is the third year of the Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies. We all enjoy the challenges of engineering, the creativity of teamwork, and the logic of programming.
We had a great day at the State Competition!
We had a bit of struggle on the competition table for rounds 1 and 2. We nearly scored a perfect 400 on the last round, but 2 markers that our robot bumped in order to get them to drop didn't drop. Our best score was a 330.
We ranked 5th place on the table out of 60 teams. The outcome of the competition would depend on the other 3 judging categories. We did well in all three judging sessions and won the Oregon State Championship for the 2nd year in a row.
